single player game still works fine and is very much worth checking out. Im not entirely sure if sharing on a 3rd party site is possible or feasible as I have no interest in going that route but it may be something others can do to share their works,

the only drawback to that is that sharing those creations in the workshop relied on multiplayer mode (which was lost) so its not possible to upload your creations to the workshop anymore, but you can still browse the workshop and subscribe to the creations that are made by other people and bring them into the game via the 'ISO' tab in main menu. This current version of Planet Explorers still has a lot to offer and is totally playable and 'complete' in terms of quests and story in story mode, and also completely playable in adventure mode and the custom creation feature of making your own 3D weapons / armor / vehicles is still very much working. Hopefully, Planet Explorers 2 will start development soon, but no timeframe has ever been promised/ announced so we just have to wait and see. They did announce that they would like to develop a second Planet Explorers game, and this time, do it better, having the experience creating this game (which was their first attempt at developing a game) AND have also released a second game called 'My Time at Portia' Its been released, out of EA for years, and about 1 year ago, the multiplayer server code was corrupted and lost and they decided it would cost too much to rewrite all the code needed to repair / replace it, so they made the game free.Īnyhow you are very late to the party as the game is exactly in the state its going to remain in, as in, NO more updates, no more ANYTHING.
